2020 by Elijah Journal - Blank, Green

This item is a part of RCEAF's "2020: Hindsight" Series, and features artwork by Elijah Tynker of Clan Tynker Circus.

The central figures, masked Madonna and child represent the collective "us" going through the perils of 2020. Their great ship (representing security and stability) is sinking in the background as they struggle to survive, backed all the way up to the cliff's edge. COVID and his slimy arms writhe around trying to grab and drag them down into the murky depths. It is about to get dark, every last bit of her survival committed to protecting the one most precious thing in her life. Then, when all seems lost, in the knick of time a golden knight (representative of the RCEAF, and all the hard working heroes in our community) comes floating down to save and lend them aid. (Original 16x20 acrylic)

The profit from this sale goes to RCEAF to benefit the financial assistance given to the Entertainment Industry Community. A portion of the proceeds are paid to the artist who designed this piece.
